This is another of my free patterns for those who are generous enough to use their knitting to the benefit of others. Thank you for your kindness.

This hat is easy and quick. The pattern is easy to understand and includes sizes to fit child through adult man. The pattern is a garter rib type stitch, so every other round is straight knit! Easy peasy!

I chose Cascade Yarns “Cherub Aran” (which is really a worsted weight, so if you substitute, use an worsted weight) and size US 8/5mm 16”/40cm circular knitting needles and the same size in double pointed knitting needles. The yarn I used is washable and good for charity projects. It’s also inexpensive.

So, go forth, Do Gooders! We love you!
