When I was perusing patterns for this gorgeous yarn there just wasn’t one that fit quite right for me. After much hemming and hawing I decided that I had to design a pattern, even if I didn’t want to. Thus the play on words for the pattern name.

I used up all the yarn except for 6 inches with the sample hat. At first I went for a bigger pom pom but just didn’t have enough yarn.

My head is 22 inches around and the hat fits perfect, with room for stretch.
