I just couldn’t let my partial skeins of Rockwell go unloved once I’d finished with my Dobbs Ferry Sweater.

This simple hat uses a version of the motif on the sweater and has a little fun with transition. It’s a very easy pattern to modify, depending on the color and quantity of yarn you have leftover.

The basic pattern will give you a hat that can be worn slouchy and long, or cuffed back for a more fitted beanie shape. Change the colors, alter the brim, make it shorter or longer or add a pom if you want.

But whatever you do, use up that gorgeous Rockwell!

As written, the pattern uses about 75 yards each of two colors. Shown in Rose Petal and Cloud.
