This is a simple set of knitting instructions for you to make your own dog sweater.

Knitting instructions include two variations of the sweater. One is the classic sweater, the other is to knit a sweater that completely covers your dog’s stomach (great for snowy weather!)

This pattern is fairly easy to follow. You will need to know how to cast on and off, knit, purl, increase stitches and sew your pieces together. Any other knitting techniques are explained in the instructions.

Instructions are for five sizes of sweater, based on the following chest measurements:

• X-Small (10 inches / 25.5 cm)
• Small (13 inches / 33 cm)
• Medium (16 inches / 40.5 cm)
• Large (24 inches / 61 cm)
• X-Large (30 inches / 76 cm)
