A stranded colourwork cowl inspired by the stones of Venice.

Featuring stranded colourwork, lace and cable stitches and knitted in the round, this cowl is inspired by the marble and brickwork of the Doge’s Palace in Venice. The design shows off the mottled, hand-dyed tones of yarns from the Bloomsbury DK range, by the Yarn Collective, which evoke the ancient stones of that iconic city.

This pattern is also available from The Border Mill for use with their Alpaca Tweed Silk.

Pattern is both written and charted.

A KAL for this pattern ran between 1 October and 30 November 2017. See the Knitmastery group for more information.

Shown in ‘Sand’ and ‘Copper’ from the Bloomsbury DK range by the Yarn Collective.
