This pattern is in symbol/diagram form with very little written instruction, (in English). It calls for size 40 thread in the book but could be done in size 20 or 30 and still look very nice, keeping in mind that it will be somewhat larger when finished. It is not a real complex pattern, worked in primarily double trebles.
