Franklin Habit’s Dolores #20 Spring Lamb Ensemble Kit by Franklin Habit includes all of the Coronado yarn needed to knit this ruffled outfit, a floral hatpin, and a packet of Dolores branded wildflower seeds. Note: Dolores doll not included with outfit kit.

In your neighborhood it may be the daffodils that herald the arrival of spring, but in ours it’s the sight of Dolores shedding her winter layers to reveal the burgeoning, brilliant blossom underneath. The ultra-flouncy Spring Lamb Ensemble is aflutter with ruffles everywhere, from the hat (held in place with an included floral hatpin) to the hemline. Longtime fans will, of course, recognize this retro-chic ensemble as a nod to her second act costume in the 1958 Broadway musical Hooves Aplenty! Dolores quite literally stopped the show when after her featured number, “I Put the Baa in Baaaaaaaby,” the entire audience walked right out onto 43rd Street and was never seen again.
