Dom is a slightly slouchy hat with a little gathered “butterfly” embellishment in front. It was inspired by Dom on Project Runway, Season 12. She wore some cute little stockinette hats like this on the show, and best of all, she won that season!

This one skein hat would be cute in any tonally dyed or variegated yarn. It was designed for a fingering weight yarn and was photographed with Classic Elite’s Mountaintop Vail, specially dyed for Unwind Yarn by Kangaroo Dyer.

The decreases are a little different than the usual hat construction. I used a centered double decrease so that the lines wouldn’t spiral, but work straight to the center of the hat, coming together like a star.
