KNITTING HELPS!

The Kharkiv Hat is knit with worsted / aran weight yarn in three colors, mimicking the white marble, red bricks, and the verdigris copper dome of the beautiful Annunciation Cathedral in Kharkiv.

With this pattern, I will try again to raise funds.
All profits until august 2022 will be donated to the Red Cross and Malteser to help the homeless refugees.

It is heartwarming to see crafters put their passion to work to make a difference for the people of Ukraine!
Remember that even the smallest amounts can really add up and do a lot of good.

4.3 Million refugees have left Ukraine up to now. Millions more had to leave their homes and are on their way to the west of the country or spend their nights in a bunker. Women and children, leaving their husbands and fathers to fight for freedom.

Gauge/Maschenprobe: 16 stitches and 24 rows/rounds

Circumference/Umfang: 45-51-56-62-68 cm /18-20-22-24.5-26.5”
Height/Höhe: 22-23-24-24-25 cm / 9-9-9.5-10-10”

Materials:
Circulars or double pointed needles: 5-5.5mm/US8-9 or size to get gauge.
3 colors in worsted/aran weight yarn:
White: 50-70 meters
Red: 40-50 meters
Verdigris / copper green: 60-80 meters
If you have some leftovers, you may also use two strands of DK weight, or 3 strands of fingering weight yarn held together
