Finished Size 9” diameter.

Yarn Green Mountain Spinnery Mountain Mohair (40% fine western Targhee wool, 30% medium wool, 30% fine mohair; 140 yd 128 m/2 oz 58 g): #9634 Balsam, 2 skeins (see Notes).

Needles Size 7 (4.5 mm): 16” circular (cir). Size 9 (5.5 mm): 16”, 24”, and 32” circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Marker (m); removable m; smooth waste yarn for lifeline; 6” diameter foam ring; matching size 5 perle cotton (or similar yarn) to sew cover around foam ring; tapestry needle. Note: embellishments, such as beads and ribbons, are optional.

Gauge 18 sts and 26 rnds = 4” in St st on smaller needle.
