Pattern Description

One of our most excited new knitters is Jonah. He is eight years old and learned to knit at an after-school program. He loves knitting, and we’re always happy to see him when he comes into the store because his enthusiasm is infectious and he is just so sweet. After having knit a few hats and scarves, he decided that he wanted to make his four-year-old sister a sweater. We suggested that he use a chunky yarn and knit the borders in a contrasting color to add a little zip but no more difficulty. When he came in about a month later with all of the pieces completed, he could barely contain his excitement. We put the sweater together for him and how his sister wears it every day.
