This blouse makes use of the reverse dying technique to get a light design on a colored background. Reverse dying works best on natural fibers. Cotton is recommended. Although the paisley pattern is delightful,anything may be used. Do be sure to select stamps with simple shapes and without a lot of tiny detail. Reverse dying cannot reproduce fine edges so larger, plainer designs are more effective.
