So this is a wrap which is made up of separate hexagons which are then joined to create an unusually shaped wrap or shawl. The motif of a dopamine molecule is optional and if worked without it you have a very pretty ‘fractal’ type of pattern in the resulting wrap. The hexagons remind me of my favourite dopamine ring and so that is where the wrap gets its name from, and the motif is worked at the joining stage, using some scrap yarn or a mini skein to create a contrasting seam. The hexagons are quick to make and this is a very portable, pick up and put down type of project - just the sort that makes me happy!
