Dormer

Knitting
April 2017
Aran (8 wpi) ?
16 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches
in stockinette stitch with larger needle, after wet blocking
US 9 - 5.5 mm
US 7 - 4.5 mm
684 - 988 yards (625 - 903 m)
39¼ (45¾)" [99.5 (116) cm] wide and 30 (36)" [76 (91.5) cm] long

An easy poncho style, Dormer’s basic rectangle construction allows you to concentrate on the dropped stitch and cable patterning—an irresistible effect in a ribbon linen yarn like Kestrel. Convert it to a pullover by simply seaming up the sides; Norah also suggests working more rows on the cuffs if you desire longer, fitted sleeves. We love pieces that allow you the freedom to really make it your own.
