This coat is very versatile and robust yet practical. It can be worn as a house coat at home, but also during concerts and in the theatre. It can even be used folded as a cushion during events, where the seating area is too cold.
The yarn should be tightly spun, so that the coat doesn’t stretch when worn.
A slight overtwist in a handspun yarn, which does not lead to a biased knitting, is beneficial here.
