Add a dot of colour, or two or three, to your winter accessories with this double knit beanie. It’s knitted in the round, to make maintaining the tension in the colourwork easier and to minimise finishing. A multi-coloured pom pom finishes the look.

Instructions include five sizes
Head circumference: 16-18”, 17.5-19.5”, 19-21”, 20.5-22.5”, 22-24”
Approx age/size: Toddler/small child, older child, teen, small/medium adult, medium/large adult

You will need 30-50g of the main colour (90-150m) and a total of 20-25g (60-75m) of the contrast colours.

I used a 3.25mm circular needle for the ribbing and a 4mm circular needle and the magic loop method for the main part of the hat, but you may prefer to use dpns.

Please note that the instructions for the colourwork are given in a chart only, not written round by round.
