Pattern description from Knitting Little Luxuries: “This simple but quirky knitted wrap is embellished with blanket stitch and buttons. The piece was inspired by odd buttons that I inherited in my grandmother’s button box, each one with its own history. Using your own vintage buttons (or beads or brooches) will create a uniquely personal piece to cherish.”

Yarn: Worsted weight (#4 Medium)
Louisa Harding Kashmir Aran (55% merino wool, 10% cashmere, 35% microfiber; 83 yd 76 m/50g): #3 rose, 6 balls; #19 mustard and #10 purple, 1 ball each; #8 olive, less than 1 ball.

Needles: U.S. size 7 (4.5 mm) and U.S. size 8 (5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Tapestry needle; fine-eyed tapestry needle or sewing needle and thread (for sewing on buttons); three 7/8” (2.2 cm) buttons for closure; about 80 buttons of various shapes, sizes, and colors for embellishment.
