A beautiful bulky cowl that works up fast by using 2 stands of bulky # 5 yarn as if they were 1, working 2 pegs as 1, and incorporating drop stitch sequences throughout. The 14-row repeat makes it a quick pattern to learn, while keeping you interested with different stitch techniques.

This pattern is worked on any loom with 5/8” gauge with at least 28 pegs (Purple Knifty Knitter, CinDWood Round Looms, CinDWood Afghan Loom, CinDWood Purple KK replacement loom).

You will need 2 skeins of bulky #5 yarn with at least 109 yards. Sample uses 1 skein I Love This Chunky Color Summer Bay and 1 skein Loops & Thread Charisma Color Off White.

This pattern is best suited for the intermediate loom knitter, although with detailed written and instructions and video links beginners to advanced beginners should have no problem finishing this pattern.
