I use the thick yarn that comes in 8 oz. skeins with a H hook and it works up into a nice thick comfy mat. The same when I use regular worsted weight and a G hook. There is no need to go out and get expensive fuzzy yarn. This stitch is thick and comfy and works up fast.

Snuggles Project Mission Statement

The Snuggles Project was founded by our president Rae French, in 1996. …the security blankets are called ’Snuggles’.

…most shelter animals are kept in areas with stainless steel braces and hard plastic flooring or even bare concrete floors. The Snuggles would allow them to have a little reprieve from the coldness of the pen they are kept in.
