This is the most useful thing I have in my knitting bag! It is small enough to fit in any bag, but is large enough to hold my box of pins, sewing needles, 3 darning needles, point protectors, a ring of stitch markers, nail clippers, wool wash, some beads, a measuring tape, and a cable needle. The double knit fabric is thick so your pointy objects won’t escape, and I used wool so that it could felt a little with use. Plus, if you add an alphabet bead to your flower embellishment, you have an instant monogram!

It took about 100 yards of each color, and is an easy pattern to learn or practice double knitting.
