This Tee has a different type of Drop Stitch, I have only seen it once and that was back in 2003. I have been holding onto the pattern until I was able to find just the right design to make with it. There are 2 Double Loop Drop Stitch Patterns on the bottom edge and a single pattern above the bust line as will as one near the bottom of the sleeve. It has a crew neck which makes it easy to slip on but is not baggy. The pattern is made with a 2” ease for comfort.
The bust sizes are from 34” to 42” with a finished size of 36” to 44”.
I like using Berroco Remix to make this Tee. It has a light feel with a very interesting Yarn texture. Berroco Weekend works well too. If these yarns are not available in your area most Cotton Blends will also work. I like Remix because it has Cotton, Silk, Linen and a few other assorted fibers.
It is suggested to use both a 16” and 24” size 8 needle, but I’m sure a 14” straight needle can be used to replace the 24” circular. You could use a set of Double Pointed Needles instead of the 16” circular to do the neck edge.
Remix has 216 yards and Weekend has 205 yards. Both of these types of yard requires 4 to 5 hanks. Other Yarns may had different yardages. I haven’t checked them out.
