Materials (Fine Gauge):
A - 1 skein Miss Babs sockweight (or light dk handspun) – approximately 400 yards
B - 2 skeins Cascade Yarns Kid Seta (laceweight mohair) - 460 yards
Gauge – 24 stitches / 4 inches in SS using A (please please please check your gauge –
can greatly impact the “ruffle-y-ness” of your scarf )
Size 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge. I knit the sample with 4
US but I knit a little loosely.

Materials (Medium Gauge):
A - 1 skein Punta Merisoft Handpaint (100% Merino – 100 gram – 197 yards – stated
gauge 9 US 16 sts/4 in))
B - 2 skeins Noro Maiko (Wool, kid mohair, silk – 40 grams – 120 meters – stated gauge
6 US 22 sts / 4 in)
Gauge – 12 stitches / 4 inches in SS using A and 11 US (knit more loosely than specified
on the ballband for more drape with this thicker yarn)
