Double Slouch is a simple hat using two colors of DK weight yarn held together. It’s quick and produces great results! The brim and main body of the hat are worked in opposite rib patterns so that when the brim is folded back, it looks identical. A big pom pom finishes off the hat and helps the slouch…..well, slouch!

The yardage requirements seem like a lot, but it is a slouchy hat with a large pom pom. I used 70 grams of each color to make the medium size.

To make the pom pom, you can use a pom pom maker or use the provided link to TECHKnitter’s instructions. (Used with permission)

This is an easy hat and suitable for a beginner who knows how to knit in the round. Other techniques/stitches include: knit, purl, knit two together, purl two together, and switching to double point needles or magic loop at the crown.
