PATTERN DETAILS:
Two hats in one pattern inspired by the TV show Downton Abbey. One hat is a classic cloche style hat with surface crochet and ruffle flower embellishment. The second is a simpler hat with a rolled brim and button embellishment.
Pattern is a pretty basic and suitable for an experienced beginner because of the finishing techniques.

YARN:
Pattern is written using two strands of yarn held together to make a more substantial hat and it also helps keep the shape of the hat. Yarn recommended 1 skein of each: Patons Divine and Patons Classic Wool. The Divine yarn gives the hat a fuzzy mohair look.

If using a different yarn you will need approx. 110 yards of bulky mohair like yarn and 145-155 yards of medium worsted weight yarn.

GAUGE:
Rounds 1 and 2 make a 2 1/2” diameter circle
