This deceptively sprawling pattern suggests an all-over maze of city streets – but in fact each panel contains a separate motif. Downtown breaks the rules a little, using slightly longer than usual runs of slipped stitches, but it’s all under control and comes together beautifully at the crown.

Fit is determined by row gauge – if your gauge differs, simply work more or fewer panels to achieve the desired size. Alternatively, adjust your gauge with a different needle size.
