This is a knitting pattern for a double pointed needle case. The buttons make it super easy to put your knitting away and keep it safe until you wish to continue your work. To use this case, simply unbutton it, slip your DPNs inside, and button it up once more. The case was designed to keep your knitting from sliding off your needles while your work is put away in your purse, handbag, or backpack. This nifty case keeps your knitting safe and sound until you are ready to return to your beloved project.

The knitting pattern comes with instructions on how to knit the outer shell, and sew in a fabric lining. The fabric lining keeps the points of the DPN needles from poking out through the knitted outer shell of the case. Sewing in the lining is a breeze, and it not only improves the utility of the case, but it gives the DPN holder an adorable woodsy look. This is a single skein project. The suggested yarn comes in lots of fun colors, and is only $4.00 a skein.
