In the famous George RR Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire” saga; “Dracarys” means dragon fire. The rich red of this gorgeous yarn brings to mind the fire in all its nuance!

Dracarys is a very feminine seamless cardigan mostly worked flat. The cardigan features an easy combination of plain stst and lace panels, short rows to shape the back neck and raglan sleeves.
The garment is worked in different sections. The body and the sleeves shaping are worked first, from the top down.
The right and left front are worked sideways in lace pattern by picking up stitches from the body. The edgings are picked up in a second time, button and button holes will be included in the neckline edging. Lastly, the sleeves will be worked in the round.
The pattern includes directions for short and long sleeves.
