Draco shawl uses a single skein of sockweight yarn and simple stitches to create a dramatic finished piece! It is written using US terms and is also charted.

Worked on a large hook, the fabric created is light and airy and by choosing a yarn with silk, alpaca or bamboo content plus lots of beads it has a fantastic drape too.

The pattern uses 482 beads (!) in size 6 or 8, be sure to have a few more on hand to make up for the stubborn ones!

The smaller hook is optional and instructions are given in the pattern on how to bead as you go using sewing cotton.

The pattern can be lengthened (or shortened) by changing the number of repeats. Please allow for extra yarn!

Don’t panic!! This shawl looks a lot different before blocking, please check out the pre-blocking pic by SlusserJewels on the pattern page over there <<<<

The pattern is clearly written and has accompanying charts. Many thanks to my testers DebbieDoesCrochet, SlusserJewels, mpoppins, lacemakingmum and darja.
