Meet Dracus the Dragon Hand / Glove Puppet.

Dracus seems fierce but he’s a very friendly dragon who just loves to make new friends. He likes doing silly things, especially telling jokes. He enjoys making people laugh and putting a smile on everyone’s face whenever he can.

Dracus is perfect for interactive play with children of any age. He induces great belly-laughs wherever he goes, no matter how shy the child may be they seem to come out of their shell when interacting with Dracus.

I have had some great feedback from nursery nurses, teachers, parents and child minders alike that my hand puppets are a great tool / help for entertaining, encouraging, engaging and teaching children from a young age.

Made using the Amigurumi technique of continuous rounds. The pattern is in both US and UK terminology (two pdf’s are included). A quick yet effective make for anyone working with children or just for fun with the little ones at home.

Dracus is designed to fit an adult hand but can be made in DK or 4ply yarn to fit a child.

I hope Dracus brings smiles to your little ones too!

Dracus is the fifth in a range of hand puppet crochet patterns that I will be releasing.
