This playful dragon is simpler to knit than he appears. The slip stitch pattern gives a scaly texture to the dragon’s body and works up quickly. The body is knit from nose to tail. The horns, wings and legs are made separately and attached to the finished body.

When knitting in the round, redistribute stitches as needed (unless specified otherwise).

Some short row shaping is used to create subtle curves, be sure to hide all wraps as you work for a smooth, clean finish.
