Sudden flames ascend the skyline; a city burns as mighty dragons dispense justice. This image was the inspiration for the Dragon Flame Shawl.

Dragon Flame Shawl is crescent shaped, beginning at top center back and worked down and outward. Two easy stitch patterns suggest flames; a center panel echoes the design elements. The shawl is appropriate for solid or tonal yarns, and for handpainted yarns with similar color values. Directions are provided for customizing size.

Note: The color changes in the large model are due to use of a gradient yarn. This pattern does not contain instructions for working color changes.
