Dragon Rime is a shawl inspired by the membraneous wing of a dragon and the delicate tendrils of frost on a cold winter’s morn. It is the blending of these that create a beautiful juxtaposition of strength and fragility.

This shawl is worked with short-rows and lace to both achieve the shape of a dragon’s wing and the airy, breathless beauty of frost. The bands of eyelets worked between the short-row panels add structure to the piece and complete the picture.

Available in both charted and written form, Dragon Rime works up fast and the result is sure to keep you as warm as a dragon and as beautiful as icy frost!
