Worsted Weight Yarn (#4) – approx. 35g - 50g per glove, more if you make them longer. Samples were done with Red Heart Unforgettable (above), and Bernat Stripes (pattern photos).

4.5 mm hook for small – 18-19 cm around (7-7.5 inch)
5 mm hook for medium – 19-20 cm around (7.5-8 inch)
5.5 mm hook for large – 20-22 cm around (8-8.5 inch)

Abbreviations Used – US Terms
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
st – stitch
dc – double crochet
fpdc – front post dc
scale stitch – worked into a pair of dc stitches. 5 fpcd around the first dc of the pair (working from top of the post to the bottom), ch 1, 5 fpdc around the second dc of the pair (working from the bottom to
the top), skip the next ch 1, sl st to the next dc.

Gauge
with 4.5mm hook (size small) – 8 dc = 5 cm (2 inch), 3 rows dc = 4 cm (1.5 inch)
with 5mm hook (size medium) – 7 dc = 5 cm (2 inch), 3 rows dc = 4.5 cm (1.75 inch)
with 5.5 mm hook (size large) – 10 dc = 7.5cm (3 inch), 2 rows dc = 2.5 cm (1 inch)

This pattern will be worked as one piece, with both gloves being made the same way. The pattern will be divided into 4 sections – fingers, hand, arm and edging. We will start at the fingers, and work our way down to the arm.
