“Dragonflies”

This pattern has been created for an Outlander book and knitting group, it is one of two patterns inspired by book 2 of the series by Diana Gabaldon that is being read as part of a group on Facebook.

I have taken the title of the book for inspiration, along with the name of the yarn linking the pattern to the time spent in France.

The spine of the shawl depicts dragonflies and I have gently shaped the shawl into what I hope can be seen to be a dragonfly shape.

The pattern is written row by row with no chart.

The dragonflies aren’t as complicated as they may look and each row will take you step by step through the making of the shawl.

Its aimed at knitters with some experience.
