The pattern shows one panel. Start with ch 172 for the foundation chain. Then crochet ch 3 for first dc in row 1 and work row by row according to the pattern up to row 153 for the first panel. Crochet as many panels as needed.

To connect the panels (see Chart) attach the thread on the top corner of panel 1 and work a sc, ch 5, sc in the top corner of panel 2, ch 7 and sc back into panel 1 where indicated. Crochet this way up to row 136. Then ch 5, sc into row 136 of the other panel and crochet ch 7, sc all the way back to the beginning.

After connecting all the panels, crochet one row of dc’s along the top of the curtain to give it more strength.

To keep the loose ends from showing up, weave them back through several stitches. When the ends are secure, clip them off close to the work. Lay the piece on a flat surface and shape to proper size (pin in place using rustproof pins). Spray with water and apply spray starch. Allow to dry completely.
