A mile-a-minute afghan for those of us who shudder at the thought of a long starting chain…this one begins with “ch 9” and utilizes a new “string of crocodile scales’ stitch pattern as the foundation for the strips. It works up quickly and produces a supple, solid masculine fabric and a slightly over-sized afghan.

This pattern is included in a book with four other afghan patterns, they all use American crochet terminology and the book is available in both print and digital formats.
