Draupnir is a small stashbuster project. These wristlets work up surprisingly quickly; despite their complex appearance, the combination of cables and lace is actually quite easy to memorize.

The pattern is charted only.

The lace is quite stretchy. As written, the wristlets will fit a woman’s small to medium. However, instructions are given to make the wristlets wider and longer.

These wristers are part of my series Among the Æsir, which contains patterns inspired by the Norse gods and their world. Draupnir is a ring that Odin laid on Baldur’s pyre. Every ninth night 8 new rings would drip from it, hence its name.
