I love the idea of dreadlocks, but i’ve never wanted to have to commit enough to actually have any. Same with a mohawk, i guess (check out my pattern Astro Viking Mohawk Hat.)
Anyways… these dreadlocks are simple to knit and you can make them as colorful as you want to give yourself a shocking new look; but one that you can get rid of whenever you want :)
Experiment by attaching feathers by threading the ends into the knitting; tying Mardi Gras beads; sewing on fake flowers; sticking sushi umbrellas into the main clump of dreadlocks… or whatever else you think of doing to spice up your new hair!
