These cozy fingerless mittens are perfect for those chilly days where you need to keep your hands warm but also fold down at the fingers and thumbs to allow use of your fingers. It is a simple pattern perfect for the first time fingerless mitten knitter.

Skills you will need
Cast on and knit in the round: either magic loop or on DPNS

Things you will need
2mm (0 US) circular needles with at least 40 inch/ 100 cm cable for magic loop (or size required to obtain gauge) or double-pointed needles.
Tapestry needle to weave in the ends
One stitch marker
Tape measure
Yarn
One 100 gram/ 420 yards skein of fingering weight yarn.
