595 (675, 755, 840, 925, 1010) yards / 545 (620, 690, 770, 845, 925) m of Worsted Weight Yarn to fit a 32 (36, 39, 43, 47, 51)“ Bust.

This versatile tank dress is not only super cute, it can be made in just 3 hours on your machine! I used my LK150 to make this dress, and have step by step instructions with photos as well as a video tutorial to guide you through it. If you have a different knitting machine, you can use this pattern too as long as you are able to get the the gauge of 4.75 sts/inch and 6.75 rows/inch.

This pattern includes guidance for adjusting the sizing if you are between sizes, or outside the range of sizes included, it is very easy to modify! Instructions are included for adding length to the dress as well. While this dress was originally designed to be made on a knitting machine so it is constructed in 2 pieces, the hand knitting pattern offers guidance for adapting this dress to be worked in the round so you will have minimal finishing.

I’ve created a video tutorial walking you through all of the techniques used to make this dress, including casting on, doing mock ribbing for the hem, increasing, decreasing, putting half of your knitting on hold to work the underarms and neckline, working the straps in I-cord, using mattress stitch to seam your dress, and Kitchener stitch to join the front to the back. The video tutorial can be found on my blog here:
