The first time my best friend saw this scarf, she said : « It looks like the reflection of sunlight on a waterfall… Why don’t you call it Dreaming Ondine ?».
Ondines are water nymphs from germanic mythology and are usually found on forest pools or waterfalls. Some people say that we can hear their songs over the sound of water.
 
Dreaming Ondine is a mid-length cabled scarf that mixes the simplicity of the big central cable — a classic knit cross — to the intricacy of lateral half-diamonds which are worked with knit-purl and purl crosses.
