After knitting a variation on 2x2 rib, this hat introduces a stitch pattern that mixes texture and lace to form little triangles, ‘dreiecke’ in German. The texture is continued into the crown decreases, making
them invisible. The pattern can be worked either from charts or written instructions, whichever you prefer.
