Knitting Pattern to make a cozy long sleeve dress, jumper, flowered headband and an adorable puppy dog.

Knit this cute set and not only can your doll have new outfits she can have her very own pet puppy dog.

Knitted on straight needles these outfits are easy to knit.

The puppy dog is super easy to knit. he/she is knitted in chunky wool on 5 mm needles and only takes about 15 grams. You will also need a small amount of contrasting double knitting wool for the collar/lead plus a tiny bit of black wool to embroider the eyes and nose, plus toy stuffing.

The dress and jumper are knitted in one piece from the bottom up, the sleeves are knitted separately and joined to the dress via the yoke. I try to design my patterns to be quick and easy to knit so this is not a complicated process; little ones don’t want to wait for their dolls new outfits!

Knitted in double knitting wool on 3.5 mm needles. Relatively easy pattern for a beginner or an experienced knitter. I’ve made the pattern as clear and easy as possible just in case any knitters feel unsure.

Uses approx 40 grams double knitting wool for the dress, and approx 30 grams for the jumper plus approximately 20 grams of contrasting wool. An ideal project for using wool from your stash.

Tension 22 sts and 30 rows to 4” square. Uses number 3.5 mm needles, (4 USA).

18”/19” will fit Gotz, Design-a-Friend, American Girl, New Sindy.

Easy to put on and take off. Just right for imaginitive play for your little one.

What little one could want more for their doll?

My Grand daughter loves her 18”Girl Doll but she finds the fabric clothes cost too much to buy from her pocket money, (and difficult for little fingers to put on and take off!), so she asked her ‘Knitting Nanny Mo’ to design and knit some for her. This outfit was inspired by Nannie’s new chocolate Labrador puppy. My grand daughter told me her dolls would love their own puppy so here it is! I hope you enjoy knitting this outfit as much as I did!
