Knit one doll or a whole family for a child to dress up in different outfits.

Our pattern and variations give you the opportunity to create dolls with different styles and personalities. There’s a boy doll and a girl doll, and different underwear styles. Children can tie the hair in plaits or leave it in loose curls.

We’ve kept the doll small so that it’s quick for you to knit up. We’ll knit each doll’s body in one piece so that less sewing up is necessary at the end. This means you can easily create several of them as well as a range of clothing.

Because smaller garments have less stretch, we’ve designed the outfits carefully to make it easy to get them on and off. The clothing styles will appeal to older children as well as little ones, so this is a versatile doll that will be loved by its owner for many years.

Please note that this is the pattern for the dolls only. Check our other listings to purchase the clothing collections.

• Wool in your chosen colours, max 25g each. I used Double Knit (8-6 ply, “light worsted”.) Tension square: 10cm x 10cm square is 24 stitches across and 32 rows.
• Knitting needles – I used UK size 11 (3.0mm, US size 2.5)

• Two toy safety-eyes, or small amount of wool to embroider eyes
