Materials:

  • Yarn: 3 skeins fingering weight, 100% Peruvian Highland Wool.
  • Color: Oregon Coast Heather
  • One set of straight 4mm knitting needles for the scarf
  • Set of 5, 4.5 mm double pointed knitting needles
  • 16 inch, 4.5 mm circular needles
  • Stitch markers (you can use a contrasting yarn to make markers, just tie a piece of yarn where you need your marker. Markers are slipped across to your working needle as you come to them.)
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors
  • Plastic for the bill (see instructions for cutting the bill at the end of the pattern).

The hat will take a little more than one skein then you can make the scarf with what is left of the partial skein and the 3rd skein.
