Drift was originally the surprise pattern included with the April 2010 Hazel Knits sock club shipment.

Drift is named for the North Pacific Drift, a warm ocean current that flows from Japan to the Pacific Northwest. Using simple yarn overs and decreases to create rippling ribs, this accessible yet appealing sock holds something for knitters of every skill level.

These socks are worked cuff down with a heel flap and gusset. At 8 sts per inch you’ll be able to make the medium or large size. At 9 sts per inch you’ll be able to make the small or medium size.
