NOTE: this would make a great gauge swatch for my Drifting Leaves poncho; if you have purchased Drifting Leaves poncho, just drop me an email and I will “gift” this design to you.

A tam or a slouchy hat – your choice. Starting at the 2x2 ribbing in the round, the leaves bloom and, thru strategically placed decreases, all leaves meet at the center top.

The hat shown is knit in worsted-weight Cascade Rustic (wool/linen blend) and takes approx 180 yards (almost a full skein). Sized to fit adults (med-lg), this will be great for fall/winter walks.

Directions are charted and round-by-round.
