These unisex socks are worked from the cuff/top down to the toe in the round. The cuffs are worked with a 1x2 ribbing. They feature a short-row heel and a simple textured cable pattern on the leg. This pattern is also worked on the top of the foot, with a plain stockinette sole.

You will need one skein of a lightweight sock yarn to complete these socks as written (between 375 and 435 yards, depending on your size choice.) If choosing to substitute yarn, pick one with a smooth texture. The textured pattern is fairly subtle, so your yarn color choice can be fairly busy, or choose a neutral for a pair of wear-with-everything socks.
