My younger cousin, Sabrina, I love her. She’s so funny. Her status messages on instant messaging remind me of when I was in my early 20s and partying like a fool, just like she is doing now. Wow, those were the days.

These toe-up socks are named after my fave of those status messages that Brina writes: “Drop 1.” I mean, I’m only in my mid-30s and I STILL had to ask what “drop 1” meant. Apparently, it means, “drop me a message.” Well, drop somebody 1 and let ‘em know you’re thinking of them by knitting them these socks.
