A cotton brimmed cap to keep the sun out of your eyes, or a few raindrops off your face. Turn the brim up to reveal some nautical stripes or keep it down, whichever looks best to you. Sized for Toddler, Child, Adult and Large Adult.

Every knitted item falls into one of two categories, “handmade” and “homemade.” Both are wonderful for a variety of reasons. Homemade for the love put into them, because we learn “we can do it!” All our first knitted items are “homemade.” After knitting enough items, we stop being happy that “we can do it” and start looking to move to the next level. LIttle details begin to move the work from “homemade” to “handmade” - from something useable into a little piece of art. It’s about more than how the article looks, but how it’s constructed and adding special details so that it looks nice in unexpected places. The details can be small, but satisfying.

In the “Drop Anchor Brimmed Cloche” there is nothing difficult, but look under the brim, little red and white stripes take it from boring to fun. Look a bit further and there is a little band on the inside of the hat to help it sit better on the head. You can’t see it, but it helps take the hat that step into the next level.
